This is an amazing story and it’s a story that you think you would only see in a movie. For those of you who don’t know heres the background. Boyle was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia last September. He missed a part of the season and returned to the lineup in November of that year. Finishing the year with 13 tucks.
A week ago Boyle announced his cancer is in remission. What does Boyle do this week, he naturally goes out and scores his first career hat trick. What makes it even more special was he did in Pittsburgh on their Hockey Fights Caner Night. Amazing, easily one of the greatest sport stories of the year.
Can’t even imagine what is going through Boyle’s mind after the game and today. A true inspiration for all of us. Keep up the great work Boyle you’re a true inspiration for everyone out there. #BoyleStrong
