2019 NFL Predictions

We can finally breathe again folks football is officially back. All the preseason non-sense is behind us and we can finally enjoy sitting on the couch every Sunday watching football. Green Bay vs Chicago kicks off tonight in what should be a great matchup. Let’s get into our prediction for the 2019 season.

AFC Predictions:

AFC East:

  1. New England
  2. New York
  3. Buffalo
  4. Miami

Do we really need to discuss this? As long as Brady and Belichick are there good luck to the rest of the AFC East. The Jets will either surprise people or go the typical Jets route and go 7-9. Buffalo has a decent team, not the best or worst but still, have a few years to develop. Miami is in full tank mode, Tank for Tua.

AFC North:

  1. Baltimore
  2. Cleveland
  3. Pittsburgh
  4. Cincinnati

Cleveland is the sexy pick everybody is on board this year. Last year it was the Vikings now it is the Browns turn. I think they will hit a few roadblocks this year and lose a couple of games they should not have. Baltimore is an experienced team and Harbaugh is a good coach I think they will take the division. Pittsburgh had a tough end of the season last year, a pure collapse, I think Big Ben has a mediocre year as do the Steelers. Cincinnati well better luck next year.

AFC South:

  1. Jacksonville
  2. Houston
  3. Tennesse
  4. Indianapolis

AFC South is the strongest division in the AFC no doubt about it. Jacksonville added Foles this offseason and I think he will lead them to the division title. His nickname is Big Dick Nick for a reason. Fournette will have a monster year it feels like and look for Dede Westbrook to click with Foles for a big year. The Texans have one of the toughest road schedules this year, going to New Orleans and Kansas City to name a few tough road games. Tennesse is a solid team but they are lacking in the most important position in all of sports, the quarterback position. Marcus Mariota is not the answer for the Titians but they have to roll with him. The Colts would have won the division if Andrew Luck did not decide to retire.

AFC West:

  1. Kansas City
  2. Los Angeles
  3. Oakland
  4. Denver

Kansas City has one of the best rosters in the NFL, of course, they will win this division. Los Angeles also a very solid team is stuck behind Kansas City and will get the number one wild card. Oakland I think will surprise people this year. Antonio Brown may not suit up for the Raiders this season but I think the Raiders will surprise people and possibly compete for the final Wild Card spot. Denver added Flacco but he is not elite and the Broncos are just not good.

  1. New England
  2. Kansas City
  3. Jacksonville
  4. Baltimore
  5. Los Angeles
  6. Cleveland

Wild Card Weekend:

Cleveland over Jacksonville

Baltimore over Los Angeles

Divisional Round:

New England over Cleveland

Kansas City over Baltimore

AFC Championship:

New England over Kansas City

NFC Predictions:

NFC East:

  1. Eagles
  2. Cowboys
  3. Giants
  4. Redskins

Wentz is back for the Eagles we are not sure how he will hold up but this team has the talent to win. Zeke just got paid so now Dallas fans can breathe with Dak as your QB because teams will focus on Zeke. The Giants will most likely start Daniel Jones come week 5 because Eli will lead the league in interceptions by then AGAIN. The Redskins are going to Redskins and go 6-10.

NFC North:

  1. Bears
  2. Minnesota
  3. Green Bay
  4. Detriot

The Bears just need a kicker, with that defence they have to chance to possibly go to the NFC Championship. Minnesota will surprise people this year. They got weapons upfront and Kirk Cousins will probably hold them back again but I like the Vikings this year for a Wild Card spot. Green Bay has a new coach and I feel like Rogers will but heads with LaFleur. Detriot added some pieces but not enough to get out of the basement of the NFC North.

NFC South:

  1. New Orleans
  2. Carolina
  3. Atlanta
  4. Tampa Bay

This is the best division in the NFC. Outside of the Saints all three of these teams could compete for a Wild Card spot. The Panthers need Cam’s shoulder to hold up for the season. The Falcons need to find their identity and Tampa is hoping Bruce Arians can work his magic.

NFC West:

  1. Seattle
  2. Los Angeles
  3. San Francisco
  4. Arizona

Seattle has a loaded defence after adding Clowney. Pete Caroll is the second-best coach in the NFL and their defence will carry them similar to the Legion of Boom days. Los Angeles will still be a very good team but I expect them to slip a bit this year following the Super Bowl loss. San Francisco needs to win this year. No more excuses for them but I do see them winning this year. They have a talented defence but they are young and Jimmy G is coming off an ACL injury. Arizona has Kyler Murray and that is about it.

  1. Chicago
  2. Seattle
  3. New Orleans
  4. Philadelphia
  5. Los Angeles
  6. Minnesota

Wild Card Weekend:

New Orleans over Minnesota

Los Angeles over Philadelphia

NFC Divisional Round:

Chicago over Los Angeles

Seattle over New Orleans

NFC Championship:

Seattle over Chicago

Super Bowl:

New England over Seattle
